Oualidia is well off the tourist trail but well worth a visit if you fancy a lazy day on the coast as part of your stay in Morocco.

Famous for its oysters, delicious fresh seafood and splendid seawater lagoon, for most of the year Oualidia is a dreamy Atlantic fishing town. A long sand bar separates the wild Atlantic Ocean to create a tranquil and very picturesque lagoon. Nearby, the Oualidia estuary is a haven for migratory birds.
